Shirish Deodhar

Shirish Deodhar is a serial tech entrepreneur with over 25 years of software industry experience in US and India. He brings deep knowledge of software product development - from early stage challenges to rapid scaling issues on customer adoption.

Prior to nFactorial, Shirish was Senior VP at Symphony Services Inc which he joined after his previous start-up, In-Reality Software, merged with Symphony. He was instrumental in scaling revenues and team to 700 employees and 30 clients in 4 years.

From 1999-2003, he was President of the India subsidiary of VERITAS Software (now Symantec Inc.). VERITAS was a client of Frontier Software, which Shirish founded in 1988, for providing outsourced R&D services to global companies. After merging with VERITAS, he grew the India subsidiary to 16 product teams and 500 employees.

Shirish did his B-Tech (EE) from IIT Mumbai, followed by MS (EE) from USA. He has a US patent, several excellence awards and ten technical papers to his credit.

Hemant Joshi

Hemant has been a successful professional and serial entrepreneur. He brings 21+ years of deep experiential domain knowledge of building tech products at companies of all kinds, boot strapped or well capitalized, and based in Bay Area (USA), UK and India.

Hemant understands the business and technical challenges of creating, deploying, servicing and maintaining sophisticated software products. Post acquisition of his previous start-up, In-Reality Software, he became VP at Symphony Services Inc. where he was instrumental in incubating and mentoring client teams – both for early stage clients and large ISVs, growing the client list, and scaling the organization. Prior to this, he was Sr. Manager at VERITAS Software (now Symantec Corp.), where he built a 120 person global product development team for two key VERITAS products.

Hemant has a BE (E&TC) from College of Engineering, Pune (COEP).

Madhukar Bhatia

Madhukar Bhatia has 22 years of software industry experience including building two start-ups. He has deep technical and business experience in building companies and teams that architect complex software products for global companies.

As Vice-President at Symphony Services Inc. , which acquired the company that he founded (In-Reality Software), Madhukar was instrumental in building the Storage/Systems practice to 20 clients and 500 employees in 4 years. From 1999-2003, as Sr. Manager at VERITAS Software (now Symantec Corp.), he incubated and built a 60 person team for two flagship VERITAS products. He has also been a partner at one of India’s earliest product start-ups since 1987, designing CAD/Graphics products for defense and manufacturing industries.

Madhukar has a B. Tech (CS) and M. Tech (CS) from IIT Mumbai.
